The pink sand of Bermuda
Our client’s custom zellige tile design was inspired by pink sand and turquoise waters. creating a reflective waterline tile border for her family’s swimming pool in Bermuda. As part of our design process, we provided several renderings and mosaic samples for approval before moving into full production.
Our artisans carefully selected the perfect pink rose tiles, hand-glazed in various shades, ensuring each tile matched her preferred hue. These were paired with a traditional white glaze subtly tinted with hints of bluish-grey Each tile was meticulously hand-cut with a chisel, following the classic stepped Sharafa design.
The zellige tiles were mounted on mesh panels, each clearly numbered to ensure a smooth and efficient installation. To complete the project, we air-shipped the tiles from Marrakech to Bermuda, where they were expertly installed by a local, specialized pool contractor.
